Welcome
to my TGC Capstone Project. Within these pages, you will find valuable
information regarding the importance of incorporating global education into the
everyday classroom. In his landmark text, The
World is Flat, Thomas L. Friedman deftly describes a world without
borders, where homogeneity is devalued and where diversity in all aspects of
culture is celebrated. As a TGC Fellow, I have grown both as a teacher and as a
member of the human race, discovering the ultimate truth, espoused by the 90's
group Depeche Mode, that "people are people." In this capstone, I
have shared my experiences with you. Please feel free to use this as a resource that best fits you and your individual and/or professional needs
Please click on links from the drop down menu in the top left hand corner in
order to discover the wonderful benefits of thinking and acting globally.
Thanks!
